Exactly which feature(s) are you being told you need to pay additional fees for? Since you clearly chose to purchase the Plus, rather than the Premium variant of the software it is more than likely, I think, that you are attempting to use a feature which is available in MEP Premium but not in MEP Plus without an additional fee.

So, more details please!

I see that the newest version includes New Blue Titler Pro I have paid for extended support of premium but I don't see the plugin. The system is very complicated

The message which came up on my Desktop from Magix was that, my licence was expiring, and that, to maintain all features I should pay a fee etc That message has not been repeated in the past two days. I will take screen shot and submit it if and when it re-appears. Thx to all who suggested possible reasons.

Did you check under Help, Install Extra Content to see if there was anything to download that you did not already download and install?

Did you receive an email from Magix when you paid to renew? Did you scroll down the email to see if there was anything there about NB Titler Pro?

Install Extra Content - got hitfilm and some other New Blue, just checked the email no mention of Titler Pro. I purchased the update in May 2019. I am due for new update payment, let's see what is included. Question to you. Do you purchase the update for $69 or buy the sale version for $79. I guess that way you are guaranteed to get all the goodies.

I think two different questions are being discussed here! @jonboy834 you are asking about the annual payment for the update Service; @anthony-magliocco you are asking about a specific piece of add-on software for MEP.

@anthony-magliocco please start a new thread with your question. I don't want to close this thread (because of the different questions) and I think @jonboy834 deserves to have his question answered in his thread. I will give my answer to his question in a further post.

It seems, from what you write, that you are being invited to renew your Update Service. By doing that you will continue to be able to access any and all updates to your existing software.

If you choose not to renew, you will NOT lose any of the functionality of the software as you now have it, you will simply not receive any further updates or upgrades (to any new version) for as long as you have the app installed and usable. However, should you ever find that you need to reinstall the software at any time in the future, the reinstalled app will be the exact version you had when you first installed it, without any of the updates received during the period your Update Service was still current.

The honest answer to your question is: I don't know!

Some thoughts:

1. Did you register the software with Magix when you first installed it?
2. In your original post you said: the programme does not continue to function, as purchased, with all features functioning. Which features? In what way does the program not continue to function? Have these features worked previously for you?
3. As I suggested in an earlier post, it is possible that something you are wanting to do or some part of the program you are wanting to use is available, without additional charge, in the Premium variant of the software but not in the Plus variant you have.

Can you post a screen shot of the message you are getting.

When and are there any prior messages before you get to the screen asking for a fee - eg a message saying a codec needs activating online or a function requires activating?

Check the expiry date in My Service Centre and login with your username and password, then select My Products. There you will see all your registered products , serial numbers, download links and when the update service expires.

johnebaker: Checked "My Service Centre" - All info was accurate re recent purchase of MEPP (even included 2008 purchase of Vegas Platinum!) The only item missing was MPEG4 activation not recorded which may be a Third Party item?

There have been no more messages in a week so cannot post a screen shot. Very puzzling.
