Hi friends,
maybe a silly question, but is it possible to set a loop to a selected range please?
I am trying to mix my drum tracks, and while I find it ok to 'solo' each track and repeat the same sections,
by stopping/resuming with the spacebar, it would be so much easier to just have the track loop.
Any help much appreciated,

I just learned something new thanks to you. I wondered why sometimes I could only record several seconds sometimes. Set a range and then use the range buttons at the bottom of the preview monitor to go back to the beginning of the range. Look at the transport control buttons beneath the preview monitor for this. Now start recording and you will see that the recording stops at the end of the range. Then just start recording again and the recording will go onto a separate track until the end of the range and stop, etc.
Magix MusicMaker (Premium) and Magix Music Studio and Magix Samplitude Music Studio have looping features and are far more suited to recording music. If you are doing lot of this type of recording, you might want to consider one of these. See my tutorial about dubbing into MEP using MusicMaker. That way you can use midi as well as audio recordings.

Great thanks mate, I was aware of the region buttons etc.. but have yet to be able to loop a selection.
