Hi John

We need more information:

Is the audio part of a video clip or separate audio file eg background sound effect/music etc?

  1. Is the 15 second 'outage' the whole audio clip or just a part of it - if the whole of the audio has its volume been turned off by dragging the volume handle shown below?

  2. Have you recorded any narration to go with the video and had the Automatic volume reduction of audio (Ducking) option turned on?

  3. Has a volume curve been applied to the audio? See image below

Thank you for your early reply John, I mostly use photos on the first track then video clips on the second track, and songs on the third or fourth tracks. the songs play fine at the intro and keep going until it reaches 59 secs. then silence until 15 secs later when all sound returns. There is no volume curve set. No narration and Volume is set about 3quarters up. Whenever I select the S solo/normal button the sound track plays fine

Also John can you help with the fact that every time I upgrade to a new package I loose more and more Intro / outros, Image objects, I would use a lot of these in my productions. Can I retrieve them again or are they gone for good these older affects etc are not available in the store.

Hi

Can you post a screenshot of the region from 55 secs to 70 secs where the audio drop out is, making the timeline full screen by clicking the small square on the top right corner of the timeline pane helps, click the now double square again to return to normal.

Zoom horizontally and vertically so we can see all the occupied tracks clearly and ensure that the audio waveforms are showing as shown below
