lost MPEG4

Hi

Just made an MPEG4 File saved it to a folder in Magix,which I could see on my screen, right clicked on the mouse and went into rename, renamed my MPEG4 and it dissapeared off the screen and I can't find it, it's not showing in my folder in magix. if I go into my computer and call up the drive and then the folder it's there. but it's not showing in Magix.

No real idea but I wonder whether, in renaming your file, you also managed to change the file extension to something other than .mp4, hence MEP does not "recognise" it?

If so, merely change the extension back to what it should be.

Hi

Sounds like you have removed the file extension.

Using Windows Explorer and setting the view to Detail, look in the folder where you saved the file for a file with the name you renamed it to,  under the type column it will say 'File'.

If it is there then rename it again and add the .mp4 extension.
