I have been recording books in Magix Music Maker 17 with multiple tracks in each file.

I just discovered when I loaded a particular file, I get a pop up error message... "wave file defective!"   I click OK (the only option I have except to close it).  I then get another popup that says "file not found"...

	The file
	'E:\Magix Recording\New004.WAV'
associated with the arrangement was not found

If this file is on a removable disc, place the disc in the appropriate drive and press 'Retry'.
If the file has been moved, please select 'Directory' and enter the current position of the file.
Note:  If you skip loading this file, the resulting arrangement may contain errors.

(1 of 3 files have currently been loaded)

	Choose either:
Retry           Skip       Skip all      Directory       Cancel

When I choose Directory, "New004" appears as the File Name with an option to "Open" or "cancel".  I choose "Open" and the screen loops back to the above error message.

If I hook up the removable disc and hit "Retry" the screen keeps looping back to the error message above.

	My questions are -
	1) Is there a way to retrieve my original recordings (including all tracks) for my various files???
	2) What is causing this?
	3) And how can I keep it from happening in the future?
