Magix Edit Pro Ultimate 2021 - update failed and program will not open

March 3 2021 - I received a message when opening Magix Edit Pro Ultimate that an update was available. I followed the instructions and when it said it was done I tried to open program and it will not open - I have rebooted computer many times, but the program now will not even open. Not sure what to do. I have a newer computer with Intel i9 processor and windows 10. My program version was 200.1.73 and the update was to be 200.1.80. Should I remove program and download and reinstall it?

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, there is no such program as Movie Edit Pro Ultimate! I think you mean Movie Edit Pro Premium. Version 20.01.80 is the latest release. 😇

I think this comment will supply the answer for your problem.

By the way, uninstalling and reinstalling will make no difference whatsoever to this problem. In fact, it may make the situation worse!

Firstly, you are absolutely correct the program is Movie Edit Pro Premium not Ultimate.

Secondly, I thank you sincerely for your very timely, kind and helpful response to my plea. I followed the instructions and that did the trick and I am up and running again. I truly am grateful for your help!
