Magix Movie Edit Pro 2018 recently upgraded..why can't I........?

weedavy6969 wrote on 4/18/2018, 12:19 PM

...with this new upgrade, when I 'trim' or cut a clip..instead of being able to click/ hold /drag back to reveal what I've 'taken away' and easily restore it.....It's now giving me a pointer at the edge of the clip that only changes the speed when dragged! Ps ..How do I add screen shots or in fact ANY attachments here to show the problem??

Hi,

Sounds like you have inadvertently clicked on the "Object stretch mouse mode (0)." Click on "Mouse mode for single objects (6)" or just press on 6 on the numbers at the top of your keyboard, not the keypad.

If you are not familiar with all of these buttons, you should watch my tutorials on basic editing.

Hi

This sounds like you are trying to use the Stretch mouse mode, arrowed below, instead of the Select mouse mode circled below.

When using the Select mouse mode the pointer will change to a double vertical bar with left/right arrows.

The Stretch mouse mode is for changing the speed of video.
