Magix Music Maker 17 will not install--"corrupt file" ????

Melly_Rock wrote on 12/25/2012, 2:05 PM

Everytime I try to install it makes that chilling "dun!" sound and a pop up comes up and says, "The cabinet file '_12vr98b.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

The software is brand new!! Just got it this morning for Christmas!!

I have been deleting stuff from my computer safely to create more free space [my computer is never good with installing software and stuff], but the problem persists.

HELP!

Need more information.

CPU, (type and speed)

RAM,

Operating system,

Hard Drive(s)

Audio Interface

It might be a good idea to go to Magix site and download the latest update.

As you have recently purchased software it is better to ask Magix support for help what if your data on CD-Rom is corrupted?

I have seen the same question in Y answers too.

Next time if you ask technical question it is helpful to provide Operating system version such as: XP, Vista, Windows 7 or 8.
