Magix Music Maker 2013 Lags and Hangs on Playback

Hi, Im editting a simple 30 seconder radio ad. I noticed that if i load effects plugins, and externally recorded WAVs (High quality speciall effects from royalty free efx) my arrangements starts to stagger and lag  and the programme freeze .. ....    but if i create music from its own library it runs well  ....

My computer specs:

Processor : I7  3770K @ 4.3Ghz

MEM  :  24GB  Corsair

Video : asus GTX 680 DC20 - 2GB DDR5

Internal Sound card  from  Z77 Mobo

M- AUDIO USB Microphone  "Producer USB"

Disk :  SSD Kingston HyperX 3K120GB for OS   and  Magix is on a seagate 72000RPM 1 TB HDD

It only happens when use   Newly recorded WAvs may it be recorded from sound forge  or  within Magix Music Maker ...   I wouldn't think that its my computer specs thats giving this problem    man this is driving me nuts !!    and it also starts to do this  when im on the 20th second of the 30 seconder im building .. :(

Sounds like a latency issue...check out the size of your buffer.  Make sure no programs are running in atahe background and eating up processor time

Hi

Sounds like it is  a WAV issue to me.  Can you try converting them to a different audio format?

I have had problems mixing wav and mp3's in the same project yet when I convert the wavs to mp3 the project is fine.

HTH

Hi

I have the samt problem right now

amd phenom quad 3,5 ghz , 12 gb 1600 mhz ram , nvidia gtx 560 ti , intel ssd 80 gb,
asus essence stx soundcard , asrock m3n78d motherboard
all sounds for my track comes from mounted harddrives not usb drive

I have tried every driver option in magix , wave , asio , direct sound

I think it happens when I use sound effect templates solaris 1 with wave sound 4608 kbps, my computer is to slow , one of my cores hit the roof
