Making a slide show in Platinum 2022

Kennan345 wrote on 5/15/2022, 2:48 PM

It used to be so easy to create a slide show with specific photo display length and transition duration but it seems impossible in Platinum 2022! Am I missing something?

I want to bring 100's of photos in and have them all have a transition of a specific duration but can't see how to do it.

Thanks

Ken

@Kennan345 Hi, Are you just adding photos to the timeline?

There's an auto length option in setting for the length of images imported - Standard picture length.

or you can select as many or all the pictures on the timeline, right click Change photo length

& to add transitions, from the Templates tab drag & drop one between 2 images on the timeline or/& click on the orange blue rectangle on the picture on the timeline, a pop-up will give you options

@Kennan345

Hi,

Once you have a duration set as per @Former user's message, put the photos that you want on the timeline on track 1

Top menu, Edit, Wizards, Slideshow Maker, Select a template, Transitions (set the fade duration and the types of fades and frequency that you want), background music, Properties and titles - select what you want like Adapt movie length to music or vice versa. If you choose Adapt music length to move, then you can change the default duration here.

Create movie (preview). If not happy, adjust, repeat...Apply. Done. You can always edit anything afterwards on the timeline.

Don't like it. Undo and do it again. There is more, but that is enough for now.
