Marker jumps to movie start after Undo?

terrypin wrote on 12/8/2013, 3:57 AM

The orange marker is consistently jumping to the movie start whenever I use Undo. As I'm struggling to finish a project to a tight deadline I'm probably using Undo even more often than usual. So having to remember where it was and restore it is getting irksome!

Just me, or can anyone else reproduce in MEP 2014 please?

Hi Terry

Cannot reproduce that one here.

A bit obvious but have you still got your macros running?

John

Wasn't Ralf's trick - to optimize (zoom) the timeline to show the entire movie, then zoom back out?

Hi Peter: That was when the problem occurred after playback. And that would be two extra clicks instead of one.

H John,

Did you try it with 'Move play cursor when object is selected'?

Same issue with no macros in use.
