When I drop Markers, I enter a small note on each one so that i can keep certain passages of the audio file organized. I save the file, close the program and next time i open that file in sound forge, the markers are there, but all the noes have vanished. Any help would be appreciated. Im running Sound Forge Pro, version 14, build 65, 64 bit. Thank you
Update to the latest Pro 14 version (currently build 112).
Confirm your markers and region "Labels" are enabled in the same "Options> Preferences" menu. Also confirm the "Save metadata with file" box is check-marked in the Save/Save as window.
btw, there is a notification option if 'save metadata' is disabled.
(Options> Preferences> General> Warn when metadata cannot be saved in file)
Otherwise you may want to try resetting SF to the factory default settings which also clears the cache. Note: your custom layout settings will be reverted back as well, so you may want to save the pertinent data. If al else fails uninstall/reinstall.
