Match colors

I’m using MAGIX movie edit pro plus and I have two clips. The colors of the two clips are a tad bit different from one another (even though I used the same lighting in my camera settings). I think the lamp I was using for the shot was flickering a little bit. How do I match the coloring for both shots? Here are the shots:

Would “Shot match” be what you’re after?

Go to the help menu > Help and search for “Shot match” (This first item has a description in there)

I tried that and it didn’t work but I’ll try it again. In the meantime, do you have a plan b?

This is just a guess. Maybe on both images select a white point using Video effect > Colour

If this was audio, I would say rerecord it..... but.... I don’t think that's not an option in this case.

@Gregory-Richardson

Hi

Shot match does work, however you have to choose the reference frame from the Source very carefully to achieve a good result.

Another option you can try is to use the Video Effects, Colour option.

A quick colour analysis of the 2 images shows the second image is lacking in blue compared to the first - try increasing the Blue value to 52 - this should bring the 2 images closer in colour - you can play with the setting moving up/down 1 unit at a time to achieve the best match.
