I have several shows of places we visited on a recent road trip created using photostory deluxe 25 and would like to have a menu that links them together. Any thoughts??
Assuming you are wanting to make a DVD or BluRay disc.
There is no way to make a custom menu that includes a 'Play all' option that the shows play sequentially, and clicking the individual movie will only play that movie, for that you would need a 3rd party DVD/Bluray disc authoring program or se the workaround described below.
Assuming each show is currently a separate project, it is possible to create a disc with the individually selectable movie, each with their own chapters, however by default the movies will play sequentially starting from the first one clicked eg with 3 movies, playing movie1 will at the end play movie 2 which then plays movie 3, start with movie 2 and it will continue to movie 3.
The procedure is:
Start a new project and open the first show's project, save the project with a different name.
Select File, Open and open the next show's project, a popup will appear with an option to Add new project. Save the project
Repeat step 2 for each show you want to add.
In the Burn tab you can edit the button names if required, in the example below the individual shows timelines have been renamed..
Burn the disc as normal.
Note the total runtime of the shows should not exceed approx 2 hrs to fit on one disc.
Example of 3 shows, separate timelines, and how the menu looks in Photostory.
Workaround:
To give a 'Play all' option combine all the shows into one to create a new show which you would then use as the 'Play all' option importing this in addition to the individual shows as above.
The downside of this is duplicating the shows and the 'Play all' maximum runtime is about 1 hr, and you need to edit the button's end actions to return to the main menu, double click each button to open this dialog.
