Menu problems for dvd disc

I have been using various forms of Magix video for years. I produce DVDs of shows which need chapter markers inserting and a DVD menu created. With all other versionsof the program, when going to the burn interface a full menu system is automatically generated. This is not happening with Movie Studio. All relevant boxes are ticked in the edit function, yet still no DVD menu. Any ideas?

Assuming your previous versions were Magix Movie Studio 18 or later, or versions formerly known as Movie Edit Pro, then there is no difference in the DVD menu creation process throughout the versions.

Compare your edit screen options to those indicated in yellow in the image below they should be similar (ignoring the names of the buttons and timeline file/chapters.

The timeline of the project
The DVD menu when in Edit mode with the left navigation panel expanded as shown in the example below if your options are set similar and still does not work.

Thanks for your reply. For some unfathomable reason it now seems to be working. Although I had to start a new project from scratch to get it fully operating without any glitches. Will just have to see how it goes.

Thanks for the feedback, the issue is now sounding like there was an issue with the previous project file, eg an entry in the data has become corrupted.

Hopefully the issue will not return.
