I have an issue with the Blu-Ray burn process in MEP 2013 Pro.
I have a video project about 1hr 45 mins long. All the video footage is 1920x1080i AVCHD from a Sony camera.
My project simply adds a menu at the start with links to a few chapter markers, some simple transitions (e.g. cross-fades), a little music and some pictures (.jpg's).
I can successfully burn the project to a single DVD. Everything is there and the menu works correctly.
However, when I attempt to burn to a Blu-ray, with H.264 & smart rendering options (output is to be the same quality as input video files), the burn process stops after "cut 1", which I assume is the rendering process. An ".m2ts" file is created in the output folder containing the video, transitions, music & pictures as expected. However, there is no disc menu at the start. I can play the ".m2ts" file with Windows Media Player. However, it's frustrating that there's no menu and the BD disc structure has not been completed (so I can't do the burn to BD).
The BD burn dialogue box shows "Cut 2 ot 4" but Cut 2 doesn't appear to be happening, not even after 5 more hours. The overall progress bar has stays the same and the lower progress bar has nothing. I've also tried this without smart rendering and also with a smaller version of the project (15 mins) but same problem.
Anyone know what each "cut" does (especially cut 2), as it may help me find the problem? Cut 1 is obviously rendering.
As I said, works OK for DVD but not for BD/H.264. I haven't tried BD/MPEG-2 as I'm sure the HD quality will be retained.
Any help greatly appreciated.
