MEP 2015 -- Where did the advance frame wheel go??

Ralph_S wrote on 9/13/2014, 1:28 PM

I just upgraded to MEP 2015 and immediately noticed that the frame advance wheel is gone.(?)Is this an option, or is it gone forever?  I use this tool often for selecting the best frame to export as JPGs from videos. I really hope that this can be brought back, or is there another approach?

See this thread where it was mentioned by Peter.

Look in the menus to see if it can be turned on somehow.

If you look in the PDF manual and the Help section for MEP 2015 it states that there is both a jog wheel and a shuttle control in the Transport Console. Like yours, mine seem to be switched off and I can't work out how to turn them on. In past experience, the Help and PDF manuals have not always been reliably updated by Magix so I wouldn't rule out the exclusion of these items from the program itself.

An email from Magix informs me that the jog wheel and shuttle control are disabled by default. You can turn them on via the preview monitor configuration menu that you can open up from the icon (showing multiple horizontal lines) in the upper left-hand corner of the preview monitor.
