Hi Gang - Happy 4th!

Inserting Flexible Cross Fades should be pretty much 'Straight-Forward' but for some reason everytime I try to insert or drag a Flexible Cross Fade onto a clip it just doesn't apply the transition (its not working), or it takes an incredible amount if coaxing and manipulating .... No Crashing - just sort of 'Glitchy'. Is there some sort of trick or preferred placement of the transition? You can see from the screen shots this particular segment is sort of a 'Slide Show' accompanying Credits. The 'SnaFu' is Puzzling .... It just won't cooperate ...
