MEP does not remember previously edited projects

MEP shows me 9 old movie projects and in the load box one more. NONE of these are the recently edited videos. If I click out of the Load Existing window and the go to "file/last opened disk projects" it gives me a similar list with the recent projects not listed. The old version of MEP that I used worked perfectly. This 2018 version does not. Support suggested a reset. That was nasty as it also reset other options that I wanted to retain. Then after opening 8 or so projects, MEP again fails to remember the most recent ones. Is there a setting to fix this????????????

Yes and no. It was supposed to have been resolved in 2019, but was only partially corrected. Recent files show up, but are not in any particular order. The box at the top with the proposed project should be the last one opened. It isn't, and the ones listed in the pop down are not the recent ones either. So, the problem persists. I will include it in the list of bugs the next time I update I it.

It was also partially corrected in VPX. The list is in order with the most recent at the top. However, the pop-down only contains one project, usually the last one opened.
