MEP-MX does not seem to support NTSC 1080 Progressive video mode for "Movie settings"?

I only see NTSC 1080i 29.97 listed.  Most video recording devices produced in recent years (such as my GoPro HD2 and HD3, Nikon P7700, Canon 7D) record 1080P 29.97 or 30fps.  I thought that only very low-end consumer camcorderes used interlace mode any more...

Am I missing something here?

Hi

AFAIK NTSC 1080p is not a NTSC TV standard - 1080i, 24p, 60p and 720p are the only HD NTSC standards I can find - these are available in the movie settings.

. . . . I thought that only very low-end consumer camcorderes used interlace mode any more... . . . .

On the contrary, low end camcorders tend not to support interleaved video.
