A .JPS file is just a JPG with L/R stereoscopic views side by side. The .JPS extension is a clue as to the format. MEP used to recognize and import .JPS files, but now it claims it does not recognize the format. It should at least recognize that it is just a jpg. Of course it would be nice if it automatically recognized it as a side-by-side stereoscopic image, but just restoring the previous behavior and allowing import would be OK. Competitors still recognize JPS and virtually all photo editors recognize it as a JPG. Why do they have to kill existing features??? This is a simple fix. The workaround is to relabel all the files as JPG, but then my computer will not longer automatically bring up 3D views with the correct viewer.
MEP no longer recognizes JPS
