MEP Pro 2015 Update Error 1603

Win 7 64 Bit - Having error 1603 (Overlapping I/O) installing update 14.0.0.172..166 etc. All Magix support sugestions have not worked so far. ie Stopped my Mcafee software, removed MS update KB2918614 and ran MEP as "Administration.

Any other thoughts out there???

Try this...

Uninstall all Windows Updates from November 2014.  I have no idea what the problematic one was, but this did the trick.  Make sure that KB2918614 and KB3000988 are both uninstalled and then go through and start removing everything that was added to your computer in November...

Has to do with Windows installer
