MEP15 (Project File Contents) and Successful Render

Hi Gang

I was wondering if 'sound effects' could be inserted onto the timeline from a different folder (other than the project folder)? 'Sound Effects' could create quite a large folder - its more practical to store them in catagorized folders within a separate Main Folder so that they can be accessible for multiple projects. If its possible/permissible to follow the prompt: 'import only' will SUCCESSFUL render still be possilble?

Thank You

@CarpentersMate

Hi

Video, audio and images can be inserted from anywhere on the PC, however it is IMO better if everything is organised.

For my projects I have a dedicated folder for each project and inside that the source files ie video, audio, images etc in their own folders within the project folder - this is my base folder structure.

Which I copy/paste and rename for each different project.

This makes for easy backup to external hard drives.
