Mic is set up for ASIO driver. Recording vocals (using the mic whose chord is plugged directly into my desktop) is not working. I need to trouble shoot this so I can record vocals

hAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TROUBLE SHOOT THIS. I had the problem before and got around it but now I have no idea how it got solved.
