MIDI keyboard connects, but nothing happens when I play it

Ok, so I'm sure this has been asked and answered a bazillion times, but I couldn't find anything that helped me.

I have my MIDI keyboard (Yamaha PSR-195, ancient, I know) connected through a MIDI-to-USB cable to my desktop which is running MMM 2014 (trial version, the full version is still in the mail). I did select "USB Audio Device" in the settings for MIDI, and I know it's the right one because I don't have any other USB audio interfaces.

I have a VST instrument selected, which works just fine with the software keyboard, but my MIDI keyboard doesn't seem to be working. I press its keys, but sound only comes from its speakers with its built-in sounds, and nothing seems to happen on the computer.

What am I doing wrong?

I fixed it myself! All I had to do was install ASIO4All. I hope this helps someone else, as well.
