Missing-Wrong Codec - "No video with supported format and mime"

Hi Gang

I was previously using 'Wondershare' for simple conversions on my Windows PC. The Codec setting options in Wondershare and FCP for a QT Movie File implement H264,AAC Video Encoder and 44.1 khz AAC for Audio Encoder. I've been successfully uploading and downloading using these settings. However Movie Edit 15 seems to be using (as a default for QT), Sorensen Video 3 for Video Codec. Result: Attempting to download a QT Movie Export (created with MEP15) produces: "No video with supported format and mime type found" BTW I've read other posts from folks who had the same issue, (No H264 Available). On the forum it was suggested using MPEG4 as an alternative. I paid for MPEG4 activation but it appears the MEP15 QT export is still not recognized in the QT Player. For now, I'm actually RE-RENDERING through 'Wondershare' in order to get H264,AAC and double player compatibility, (both WMP and QT players) ... 😟

Any Other Work-Arounds? Options?

Thank you Magix friends ...

Ok - Ok 'I get it' - This is an old horse which has been beaten before. Unless I'm wrong I've surmised Magix (for whatever reason) just never provided H264 codec until later developing Magix Video Pro X. I've read the other comments which dismissed the quality of H264 trying to persuade people to use MP4 (and be satisfied with that), staying away from H264. But I'm happy to see Magix realized it might be in their best interest to incorporate H264 in later software versions. I'm still enjoying MEP15 (many nice features for a Windows system).

Thank You Magix Friends ... 👌
