Mixing Down MP$ Error Code 0xc00d36c4

LEE-YUEMENG wrote on 9/17/2021, 6:53 AM

After installing the new 2022 Plus upgrade I no longer can finalize my edited works to MP4 format. Each time my MP4 movie will show error code 0xc00d36c4. And the app will hang and reboot by itself. Also my CPU seems to be struggling and my editing works move like snail, stalling for seconds. I am running on Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz   3.00 GHz with16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable). My systems are running perfectly.

@LEE-YUEMENG

Hi.

0xc00d36c4 is a Windows error code for an unsupported video file format. As it is a Windows error it may be you need to ensure you have Windows Media Player on your system as that could contain the missing codec you need as the newer Windows Films and TV player does not contain all of the older codecs.

I can't remember where I read it but I'm sure I read that Windows Media Player should be on one's system.

Again, yet another user not getting smooth playback and program freezes with only an Intel HD 630 GPU to hand on their system.

You appear not to be alone and it is seemingly an increasing problem among those with similar systems running MEP 2022.

You may have to ask Magix themselves why this is happening.

With the aid of an additional compatible nvidia graphics card the Intel HD 630 seems to perform much better than on its own on my system.

With the screen shots that one or two other have provided on the forum I see the GPU does not seem to perform any Video encoding or Video decoding any more. With an added compatible nvidia card the Intel processor suddenly starts to do video decoding on its own at least.

I wish I could help out with suggested program settings to try out but I feel this is best left for Magix to reply to.

Try either raising a ticket via the forum or emailing them at infoservice@magix.net.

They may also be able to help with the above problem if my suggestion does not cure the problem.

Ray.

Hi thanks for your help. Magix Support has contacted me and asked me to send a copy of my works to them. But I managed a way to resolve my problem. I change the program setting from CPU to the graphic card as processor.
