Hi, I've been reading and re-reading Magix's website for a while in order to find out which version of Music Maker would suit my needs. Now that I decided that Music Maker Premium is the way to go, I've just find out that there are two different promotional offerings:
- Music Maker 2013 Premium + The Best of Soundpool DVD Collection (USA site)
- Music Maker 2014 Premium + Music Studio 2 (International site)
I'm a bit confused, first because you get different promotions depending on the country you select, and second because I don't know which offering would be the best to me.
At the beginning, I would like to use the samples that come with MM to build my songs, but in the due time I intend to delve deeper into the VST instruments. So my first question is: would the samples included in the promotional offer might be used in a professional fashion? I already read the EULA, but I think it doesn't answer this question completely; also, I looked at the Catooh site regarding the Best of Soundpool, and looks like it only has a PRO licensing, so that's good news, but what about the 6,000 samples that come bundled with MM? If there's no way of using them in professional works, it would be a really downside to me (or can I buy a separate license in order to use these 6,000 samples professionally?).
The second question is: supposing that MM samples are for personal use only, is there a way of distinguishing between MM's and Best of Soundpool's samples?
The final question: do I need Music Studio? I guess I don't have much use to its features (live recording, multiple intruments recording etc.), so I don't know if MM 2014 promotional offer really attracts me - but anyway, it's MM 2014, so maybe it's worthwhile, anyway. :-)
Sorry for the long question, but it's been almost five days of a huge dilemma, so any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Edgard
