Hi,

To save the take (which must be one or more video clips, not images), right-click it and choose Save objects as takes.

However, don't bother, as it's so buggy you'll regret it sooner or later.

I reported bugs when 2014 was released and several times since then. I just checked by importing an MXV video clip, cutting it and saving one part as a Take. I used Detail view mode to avoid the issue discussed here:
http://www.magix.info/uk/mep-2014-takes-still-unusable.forum.1103403.html

... but as soon as I tried to use it it was clear that the bugs remained unfixed. And of course will now remain unfixed forever, as MEP 2015 has been released. (Have they been fixed now?)

Best to regard MEP 2014 Takes like John Cleese's parrot - well and truly deceased!
