AMD FX(tm) 6300 6 core 3.5Ghz...4G RAM...Radeon R5 200 series...Windows 8.1 64 bit..NEW...up to date drivers.

.Makes movies and operates well, except during editing it freezes. Gives crash dump and error Access Violation. It then closes itself down or I shut it down with task manager. When I restart a page comes up for recovery and crash reports. Ther recovery button works everytime. I can only go 3 or 4 edits then upon playback it freezes after 30 seconds. Ideas?

Hi

Try restoring the project (via the file menu) from an earlier backup prior to the first crash. The project may be corrupt after the crash.

You could increase the amount of RAM on your system also, especially if you have MEP2015 (64bit).

Thanks. It did not do it on the next 3 movies I did. Then it started again. The more scenes and edits I make the more it's apt to do it.IM Running MEP 2014.  How do I find which memory stick to add?
