Movie Edit Pro 16 plus : Ctrl/Del function does not work anymore. Moves all clips to the left, deleting gap while editing. Any idea how to fix it

During editing I use Ctrl/Del function to delete parts of clips and to move all down stream clips to the left to eliminate the gap.  This function does not work anymore.  Does any body know how to fix this?

Hi,

Have you locked any tracks?

Is there a grouping issue?

Are there objects in (unseen) lower tracks that are causing an issue?

thanks and you answered my question.  I had the track problem, which may seem trivial. Not a good idea to edit video with a 17 hour yet lag....
