Hello,

I’m trying to import video from Sony HVR-A1E DV (PAL) VCR.
Magix announces that it ”Could not connect to selected device". I’m using DVout
iLINK and there should not be any problem with my Firewire-card or WIN10 operating system.

Could You help me with this problem?

Thanks!

Hi

. . . . there should not be any problem with my Firewire-card or WIN10 operating system . . . .

The most likely cause of this issue is that the Firewire card is using 64 bit drivers, MEP 2014 is a 32 bit program and can only connect to 32 bit drivers.

Check that 32 bit drivers are available for the Firewire card and are installed.
