Movie edit pro 2014 will not install on windows 10

I've just upgraded to windows 10 and have a problem with movie edit pro 2014 plus. I have several other magix programs such as music maker 16 premium, Xara web designer 10 premium and also movie edit pro 2013 all of which work perfectly fine. when I installed windows 10 I checked all my programs started and worked. The only problem I had was movie edit pro 2014 which failed to even start and requested I uninstall and reinstall the program. I uninstalled the program, logged into my account to download software, downloaded software, try to install and it seems to stop. There is no error message, nothing, everything just closes and I'm left with the desktop screen. I've tried to contact Magix support but they want £9.99!!! bit of a cheek as I wanted to upgrade to the 2015 version (rant over) can anyone help? Cheers Danny

Hi danny

Before installing try Right clicking the downloaded   MovieEditPro.exe and try > Run as Administrator,

or:- >Properties > Compatibility Tab > Run this program in Compatibility mode > Windows XP (SP2).

Worth a shot.
