Hi

What is the full name and version number - see under Help, About . . . .

Please do not post a screen shot of this dialog, it will show your serial number.

. . . . after saving turned the pc off after a while . . . .

Was Movie Edit Pro (MEP) still running after saving?

Did you close MEP before turning off the PC?

How did you turn off the PC - using Windows Start, Power, Shut down or some other way?

Does the message appear if you close MEP and restart it again?

Hi

Thanks for the information - that eliminates some possible causes of the error.

Look in the folder that contains the MVP file for the project causing the problem and if there are any files with _BAK in their name move them to a temporary folder and start MEP 2016.

If that does not work then try resetting the program to its default settings - File, Settings, Reset program settings . . . . close the program and then select Start menu, Power, Restart to reboot the computer

Note - resetting will lose any custom settings eg folder paths you have created.

Hi

Which option made it work? It will be useful to know for other members who encounter the same problem.

Thanks
