Movie Edit Pro 2018 Plus available as 32-bit installation?

Operaman wrote on 1/20/2018, 5:16 PM

I just purchased MEP2018P online; the last version that I had purchased / installed was Move Edit Pro MX Plus (v11.0.1.4) - so I've been away from it for a while. Long story short; I am on Windows 10 32-bit OS. The only version that appears to download appears to support 64-bit only. Is there a 32-bit version available? If not, what is the latest 32-bit version that I can access? Thanks.

Hi

The last version available in 32 bit was MEP2015 which can I believe be downloaded from: https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/customer/downloads/tools under the name of "Video Deluxe 2015 Plus 32 bit version" on the Miscellaneous Downloads tab. I have seen another member mention that it is in effect the same as MEP2014 which was the last 32 Bit only version.

Looks like the only version (of MEP2015) available via this link is the German one. Und mein Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut. :(

Did you try installing it? Sometimes things are listed under the European name Video DeLuxe, but still install in English....

If you can find a copy of MEP2014 which is a lot better than MX then it would be worth the upgrade.

Yes I did install the Video Deluxe and it was indeed a German version. I'll take a look for the MEP2014 version, and see if it us English. Will I need a new serial number to use it?

You will need a new serial number to install either version and it would be worth contacting Magix sales or Magix support to see if they can supply a link for the 2015 32bit version in English.

I was able to contact Sales Support and get a license for MEP2014 (the last available 32 bit version) in exchange for the MEP2018 that I had purchased. Was able to install successfully. Thanks for your help with this. Now onwards to new problems burning a movie to BD, which I am in the process of investigating.

Thanks for the info on 2016 - I did not know that. I wonder if it is the same as the 64bit version or just in fact a rebadged 2014 version?

Good to see you have got something newer up and running.

My bad - I actually got MEP2014, not MEP2016.  I've corrected the post above. Thanks again for your help. BTW - I've added a couple of posts today describing my issues writing to BD.
