Movie Edit Pro 2020 - Installation of Additional Content

I don't have MEP2020. Has the installation of additional content procedure changed, or is it still under Help, Install additional content?

The alternative would be something like the Downloads Manager in Music Maker.

Hi John

Yes the Install extra content is still under Help. IIRC correctly on a clean install after registration you are also prompted to install the extra content.

Hi John,

Thanks for confirming. I raised the question because a user on the French side was implying that he had to go into the Store to get his additional content. When he finally came back with the correct information, that he had purchased some effects (plugins) several years ago or that came with older versions, it became clear. He had uninstalled the previous versions and just installing the plugins without the old version didn't work. He had to install the previous versions, then the plugins, and all or almost all worked.

He had me worried for a while.

Just to add, 2020 has gone the same way as VPX11 in that it copies the extra content from the previous version into the new Public folder location so you do not need to download all the content again.
