Movie Edit Pro Clips Showing as Black and Empty after clicking Red X

Hello,

I was managing my project, and accidentally clicked the red "X" button when attempting to rename it, and now all of my clips are black, but the clip lengths and names still exist, etc. I didn't get any confirmation popup or text, so I'm hoping that the red X doesn't truly delete the project and all of the individual clips. Is there any way to recover this? Am i missing something?

I'm using Movie Edit Pro, bought and downloaded today, so it should be the most recent version. On Mac OS, on a MacBook a few years old (2014 model I believe).

There is no version of Movie Edit Pro that will run on a MAC OS, it is Windows only.

The screen shots you have posted do not look like Movie Edit Pro - the last part of the program name that can be seen in the top bar is probably Editor

What is the full name and version number of the program you are using as found under Help, About . . . ..?

After a little research, I found Movie Edit Pro - Merge Video Image Editor
It is a completely different program created by ZHANG FENG and not MAGIX.

@MAGIX_Redaktion Can you please take a look why a different company can also use movie edit pro as a video editing software name without problems.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. My girlfriend bought it on the recommendation of her instructor, but I’m confident that he meant for her to get the MAGIX one. I’m going to talk to her about asking for a refund for this knockoff
