Hi

. . . . I want to add another button like the existing ones on a menu screen; How? . . . .

In menu edit mode click the green plus sign as shown below

In the dialog shown below:

  1. Add the text label to be displayed (1)

  2. Select the button image to be used (2)

  3. Select what to link to (3) and the target

  4. Select any colours, transparency etc if you need to.

  5. Click OK

Which menu template are you using?

How many chapter markers on the timeline do you have?

Note: menu templates have different restrictions on the number of chapter buttons allowed depending on which is selected.

I have 8 chapeter buttons Movie edit pro wants 3 on the top line and 4 on the line below; with a singleton on the next page. I want to put this on the row of 3 making 2 rows of 4.

I can't find the button provided in the buttons images (at 2) and I can't save the existing one to somewhere.

So I'm stuck

Hi

. . . . So I'm stuck . . . .

. . . . and I am puzzled - I do not see any chapter page title or return to main menu button in your image - have you removed these or deselected the Movie Menu page?

If I use the template I think you are using ( Default 16:9 ) I get three rows of three as shown below

I have tested this in MEP versions MX, 2013, 2014 and 2015

Can you confirm which version of MEP you have and which Menu template you have selected?

I don't get any buttons in the template at all. I am going to reinstall MEP.

I'm using MEPro 2014 version 13.0.5.4 9 (UDTP)

RAP_Rudd wrote on 6/14/2015, 2:35 PM

I have reinstalled and found that the path for the new button was not set. So I will look in the

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus\DVD\Layout

folder to get to the button I need.

Thanks for all your help - Guys.
