Movie Edit Pro MX file export issues

I am using Movie Edit Pro MX on an HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210f Desktop, AMD Phenom II X4 945, 8gb PC3-10600 ram, ATI Radeon HD5450, 1TB 5400rpm SATA (750gb free)... I am unable to export any movie to a file.  I have tried avi, mpeg2, quicktime, windows media, uncompressed, etc.  Each time it starts and after 20-30 seconds will stop and give an error that the export was unsuccessful.  Try a different export file type or check to see if you have enough hard drive space.  The video is not even 4 minutes long.  I can burn the video to DVD just fine, but will not let me export to a file.  I never had an issue with Movie Edit Pro 14.  Any suggestions?

Hi

What changes on the timeline at around the time the export crashes?

eg at 20 - 30 secs is there a change of audio file types, a change of video format or a transition

John
