Movie Edit Pro Plus 2015 still doesn't work after following tutorials.

For several days now Magix Edit Pro Plus has been crashing after 5 seconds of initialising, I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, followed https://www.magix.info/uk/tutorials/fixing-program-issues-after-windows-10-upgrade--1142475/ to the T, I've done the "sfc /scannow" in the powershell, I've dug into the %appdata& file to delete the Magix file, I've gone into Program Data, Program Files, literally turning my PC's files upside down to remove all trace of Magix before reinstalling, even sometimes doing the sfc /scannow directly afterwards, but it's not changed a single damn thing, NOTHING has changed at all, I'm running Windows 10, my Magix is up-to-date, my PC is very powerful with tons of GB left, my Magix is version 14.0.0.153, WHY ISN'T IT WORKING? http://imgur.com/a/5o7TZ <- this is a screenshot of what happens after Magix is done loading

Hi,

You say that your version of Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus (Magix is not a program, it is a company) is up to date at version 14.0.0.153. No, it is not. I have Movie Edit Pro 2015 Premium which is exactly the same program, and the latest update is 14.0.0.187. 14.0.0.153 was the first release. Open the program to a new project. Click on Help, Update on line, and follow the instructions.

Here is the list of updates, you only need the latest one:

We need more specific information:-

  1. Does MEP load correctly and allow you to create a new project?
     
  2. Looking at both images you have posted, it looks like Movie Edit Pro is actually working correctly and the problem is the program crashes when trying to load the project called PLEEEAAASE_Crash_18082014_143554.MVP and the name of the project would also suggest this is an old project from 18/08/2014

    Is this correct?

If the answer is yes to either of these then the project is corrupt.

There may be BAK copies of the project in the same folder as the original project, however there may be no guarantee that these will load correctly using File, Load backup project.

Before replying, please read this post.

Well actually that PLEEEAAASSE is new, and it wasn't a serious file it was a call of desperation towards my PC in hopes that it comes with a sentience program and decides to have it work, a man can hope

IT would be nice if the software worked long enough for me to do that but whatever I'll just have to do some Matrix Neo ** to update it before it crashes
