Movie Edit Pro Plus Fails to Install on new LG Gram 17

Movie Edit Pro Plus fails to install on new computer. Error message "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {DF960A1E-B701-B3BC-A06B-D6B9ABF34537}. HRESULT: 0x80070490" Have tried to contact Magix with no response. Movie Edit Pro Plus runs fine on my Dell 13. I've spent an entire day trying to find a solution and no results so far.

First, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there. At the moment we cannot even begin to help you because we know nothing about your computer nor even about the exact version of MEP Plus which you have.
