Movie Edit Pro Premium - What effects are on a clip?

Hi,

I'm running Movie Edit Pro Premium 2017 with all the current updates on a windows 10 pro machine, i5 processor and 12gb RAM.

Since the whole "facelift" of magix MEP I find it really difficult to se what effects are added to a clip and ALSO if effects are added and they need a bit of "tweaking" I don't know how to find out what effects are in use or where to adjust the settings of the effect.

Adding effects and tweaking one at a time is fine, but returning to a project and adjusting effects where maybe I've added one, two or more is a nighmare for me. At present I end up "resetting" effects on the clip and starting again. Very time consuming, surely there is a better way?
