Movie Edit Touch -- anyone trying it?

Maybe a bit off topic (not classic plus or premium MEP per se), but has anyone tried the Magix tablet app? It's free with Plus and Premium MEP 2014 -- a great incentive to buy the more expensive product to save $5.99 IIRC.

So far I've only played a bit with the demo version which does not allow one to save projects etc. Think cut cut down version of MEP with only storyboard mode, titles and a few basic effects. It claims that projects started say on vacation (without your (core i7 laptop?) can be further edited when you get back to a real computer. While holidaying and drinking fine reds you can put together a little presentation with captions to send to your social media.

I've tried it briefly on my new Surface Pro, and as I've bought MEP 2014 I've now unlocked the full version.

On the Surface Pro, which has an i5, it's pretty responsive. The trimming of clips seems quite interesting - a sort of hybrid between storyboard and timeline.

What struck me was the the lack of any control over editing the main track audio, and I don't see any tools that would allow you to do any B roll editing. I might be missing something, but if that's the case, it could do with a few more features if it;'s going to rival the Pinnacle app for the iPad. It's just that I don't want an iPad!

In fact, MEP 2014 is pretty useable on the Surface pro, even for a couple of streams of AVCHD. It's just that the screen is physically too small for some of the functions to be easy to use.
