Hi

Check the following:-

  1. you have not muted any of the audio tracks - there will be a pale blue M at the left end of the track if it is muted - click the M afgain to unmute.
     
  2. you have not muted the sound - the speaker icon (below) will be black with a diagonal bar through it - if it is muted click the speaker again to unmute.
     
  3. If some clips have audio and others do not - right click those that are silent and select Audio functions to check if the Mute audio object is checked - if so click the Mute audio option again.

Thanks I will keep a note of this if it happens again. I think I have somehow overlaped various parts of the video. As I was not too far into it, I started over again and everything is fine.
