Movie Studio deleted by mistake

I purchased the Movie Studio Suite and had to have some work done on my computer. My movie download got deleted by mistake. I have the Photo and Graphic designer download but that is no what I need. I went in a put the code I have in and it said it is already been used. How do I get the Movie Studio back without having to purchase the suite again?

Hi,

Go into your account at Magix.com, My Products, Movie Studio and deactivate whatever devices are listed there for it.

Then, you should be able to activate Movie Studio - with the same email address as your account.

My struggle is over! I built my (now) system 2 in 2011 when DV was king and MPEG 2 was just coming onto the scene and I needed a more powerful system to cope. Since then we've advanced to MP4 and to bigger and bigger resolutions. I was really suffering, not so much in editing (with proxies) but in encoding, which just took ages. A video, with Neat Video noise reduction applied, would encode at 12% of film speed. My new system 1 does the same job at 160% of film speed. Marvellous. I'm keeping my old system as a capture station for analogue video tapes and DV.

I wonder, if you don't have the "My Products", it's because you haven't registered any yet? While waiting for a reply from Magix, you could try registering your copy of MEP and see if "My Products" then appears.

No I only have 1 email account. I can not find the serial number. I have a number on this card that was in the box however when I put it in I get a message Invalid serial number. This is the only number I have. How come I can get the graphic designer part of the package if I have not registered

Movie Studio Suite is the new name for Movie Edit Pro.

You will have to contact Magix as suggested as it doesn't sound as you registered that program manually at the account but only used the activation number supplied with the box. If you had to change a component on the computer or fully uninstalled it you would need a new activation code for the program. If you did not purchase the product from the website then please add the purchase details with the email to magix.

If the number on the card does not begin with P3- then that is a voucher code which is redeemed here to get a serial number which you would have received by email, in which case check your emails and spam folder.

If the number does begin with P3- then you download the trial version of the program from Magix and activate this with the serial number which must be typed in in full ie including the P3- prefix.

If you had activated Movie Studio and Xara P&GD, then you would have had to indicate the activation code and your email address. At that time, the products are registered in your account.
