Movie studio platinum 18 -Select files components popup on every start

Every time I start up newly installed Movie Studio 18 a window opens up asking me to install components. All components have been installed and I have clicked "Don't show this again" button - but it still appears on every start up. This is VERY annoying. I have searched various sections in program's menu but can't find any override for this time-wasting feature. Please help.

Hi and welcome to the forum

See this comment. Although it refers to Movie Edit Pro it also applies to Movie Studio 18 which is based on Movie Edit Pro.

Hi John EB,

First thanks for your reply. I have read the link you provided. I have already found and tried "reactivating" alerts as described. I still get the popup and always get the "Select files - Please select the components..." at every startup. The components are listed as successfully installed and are greyed out. I then have to cancel the component window to progress.

Program is Movie Studio 18 Platinum ver 18.1
