MPEG-4 video does not work

Any of xxxx.MP4 does not show video preview. Only black screen with audio is shown. Cursor is running normally. There is also problems creating .mp4 videos. They are same, black screen with audio.

Latest WIN10 64bit. Latest Movie Edit Pro premium 2021, one time reintalled. Problem started after 2021 update. Seems to be codec problem

Hi and welcome to the Movie Edit Pro user to user forum

Hi. No, the codec is OK. Your system can no longer make use of the hardware acceleration within the program.

In the Movie Edit Pro top toolbar, go to File \ Program Settings \ Import/Export and untick Hardware acceleration for playback if possible and Hardware encoding during playback if possible.

Then go back one tab to Display options and make sure the Video mode is set to Compatibility mode (video for Windows)
