Hi.

Check out this thread, especially the posts from @ralftaro on page 4 of the whole thread.

Which exact version and build of VPX are you running because I thought this problem had been resolved in a (fairly) recent patch?

HTH

Jeff

I don't want to steal or divert Jeff's earlier response, but your software is quite outdated. Latest version is 16.02.2.306. I can understand how one can get outdated after a year of use.

Thank you for responding , The weird part is that from one canon camera it works fine but the other it only just started not responding to MTS files?

Do you see the waveform in the timeline? Did you maybe mute the audio section on the timeline?

No waveform appears. Wav and MP files work fine.Just MTS will not. But they did up until about 3 mo ago?

@danstudio

Greg is right, you are running a comparatively "old" version of VPX.

However, the fact that the .mts files from one camera do load correctly into VPX and files from another do not is very strange.  Can you point MediaInfo to one of the files which does work and one which does not and then compare the results, even posting the Text view of both here, if you wish?

Is it possible for you to post somewhere, not to the forum, a very short section of a "working" and a "non-working" file for others to download and test on their machines?

Using my laptop it seems to be working well , I don't know why it suddenly wouldn't be reading it from the desktop.I have not changed settings?
