MTS video files - no audio in MOVIESTUDIO 16

Hi there, I am wondering if someone can help me, it's hopefully an easy and straightforward enough fix.

I have a lot of mts files from my CANON camcorder that I am wanting to edit in moviestudio 16 with and I have the video files playing perfectly fine, but no AUDIO and there is nothing obvious that I can see, such as anything muted or anything.

I have moviestudio 16 on my old computer and it plays those mts files with audio perfectly fine and I am able to edit and I can't see anything obviously different in the settings or preferences from one computer to another.

It is just really frustrating that I can't get audio from the mts files in moviestudio 16 on my newer computer though! Any ideas/tips on how to potentially change any settings that may solve this issue, without me having to convert many hours of footage?

Thank you in advance...

@Greig-Stott

Hi and welcome to the forum - albeit the wrong one.

Vegas products, except for Magix Movie Studio 18 and later versions, have their own forum, link is at the bottom of this page, I would suggest you post your question there

There should also be a link to the correct forum under Help in the program.
