6 tracks? Presumably that means you have set it to 8 and are using two. I don't use multi-cam, but isn't 8 surprisingly low?

BTW, why are tracks 1 and 2 not used!

Terry, East Grinstead, UK. PC: i7 6700K, 4.0 GHz, 32GB with Win 10 pro. Used many earlier versions of MEPP, currently mainly MEPP 2016 & 2017 (Using scores of macro scripts to add functionality, tailored to these versions.)

Terry, I agree the number of tracks is too low, but the answer to why 1 and 2 are blank is because the multicam editing process (i.e. as you select which camera to use) it is automatically transferred to tracks 1 and 2 and so becomes the new "master/final version" track. Even when the user as in this case, is not using separate tracks for audio and video, I think.

@ken-cannizzo as Terry says, you need to increase the number of tracks to at least 8, as the original error message says. By default, mine is set to 32 tracks, so there is never a problem of them "running out" (so far!) and, since most of them are "invisible" (because they are off the bottom of the screen) there is no problem about the amount of screen estate taken up by empty tracks.

I pushed it to 8 tracks and I thought it worked but it just changed the error message. Now the error is: "Multicam mode was not switched on because there were not enough source tracks available, at least 2 tracks must be used" There are 2 tracks/2 cameras.

Thank you, This works. Other videos I watched, I thought, showed putting the video directly into 3 & 4 which is what I was doing. Maybe they had a different version or somehow I kept missing it.

Thanks again for every ones help.
